We are a growing RV rental car fleet with three locations in the general San Diego area focusing on 19 ft camper vans. Our customers are constantly picking up and returning vehicles which need to be send out on their adventure trips with a brief tour and inspected and cleaned upon returned. Position only in San Diego, CA.
About the RV Host
We are currently looking to recruit a RV Host to join our team at RvsEasy.com. This role would perfectly suit a highly motivated, flexible, individual with experience and passion for providing exceptional levels of customer service. Someone who is reliable, out-going, energetic, and able to adapt to changing schedules and/or tasks as required. Experience within RV's would be ideal but not essential.
General Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating, with customers the vehicle handover process for all vehicles from start to finish including making sure all forms, documents etc. are complete with signatures where required.
- We use sophisticated online technology with electronic forms and check in.
- Before the trip, you will be checking vehicles over prior to handover including fuel and other levels and making sure that all accessories are provided. In addition, all service manuals, book packs and handover forms are ready.
- Being prepared and waiting to meet and greet guests for vehicle handover within the Service Area to provide a vehicle handover experience that exceeds all customer expectations. This is to include demonstrating, in full, the operation within the vehicle and ensuring customers are confident to handle the vehicle and troubleshoot problems during their trip.
- Clean all returned cars and prepare them for their next trip, including interior cleaning, vacuuming, sanitizing, inspecting, and preparing vehicles in accordance with our cleaning standards.
- Wash and dry vehicle exterior.
- Check fuel and other fluid levels and warning lights and refill as needed: inspect windshield for damage; factory reset/restore vehicle setting to clear prior customer data, check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage. Fuel and stage vehicle, inspect dashboard to make sure no oil change light or engine or air pressure lights are lit.
- Transport vehicles from one location to another safely and quickly.
- Effectively communicate and offer ancillary products and services to enhance customer’s camping experience.
- Inspect incoming RVs for damages and document any new damages or scratches identified.
- Inspect RVs for smoke smells and other damages that require a fine and report charges in inspection report.
- Inspect each returned RV to make sure it is returned in the same condition it went out, verify all accessories are returned.
- Driving RVs to service centers if needed.
What we are looking for
- A well-presented individual who can confidently communicate and build rapport quickly with both colleagues and customers.
- Someone with excellent organizational skills who can prioritize tasks and be flexible to ad-hoc requirements and be able to time manage and coordinate appointments effectively.
- Experience of customer handling and customer service and cleaning procedures
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Must be flexible with schedule to work night, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Have a reliable transportation.
- Be on time, reliable and responsible.
Schedule and Pay
This is a part-time to a full-time position, with opportunity to grow into management position.
Pay will depend on the experience and ability to show five start customer service. Starting salary is $22 per hour with monthly bonus based on customer reviews and potential growth to $42 per hour. You also get $20 bonus for every 5 star you get on our platform.
Living in a safe and central location and access to a driveway that can park the vehicle overnight if needed.
